Secure your load by following these 5 easy steps:

Step 1: Ensure that your load is stable. Abide by state laws for appropriate rules regarding anything extending out past the truck bed.
Step 2: Loosely attach a Load Hugger at least one foot in from each end of the load. Again, abide by state and federal laws in determining the number of required points of securement for all loads.
Step 3: Look at points where the load will come in contact with the webbing and determine the appropriate cut protection for your straps. Remember, an edge does not have to be sharp to damage webbing.
Step 4: Start tightening the Load Hugger straps, and ensure the webbing is lying flat against the load. Tighten the straps enough to prevent the load from shifting.
Step 5: Once the straps are to the correct tension, secure any excess webbing to the strap or other fixed point.
